Our consulting and development services are based on many years of professional experience in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and home and building Automation, often on behalf of well-known companies in the electrical industry and international organizations.
This experience also includes participation in research projects of the European Commission and national institutions.
The look at the market and the product
Our goal is the development of market-driven and innovative products in the service of our customers. In order to achieve these goals, we orient ourselves on the best software technologies for the respective project (see below).

We can support the development of software products in all phases, from idea to delivery.
KNX is a worldwide standardized protocol for building automation according to ISO/IEC 14543-3 (international), CENELEC EN 50090 and CEN EN 13321-1 (European) and GB/T 20965 (Chinese).
We are a member of KNX ourselves and have contributed to the development of KNX technology. For this reason, we can provide particularly qualified contributions for KNX projects.
We do not develop hardware for KNX devices, but we can offer for example the development of gateways, ETS apps and application programs, also using the new KNX Secure technology.
Internet of Things
The Internet of Things (IoT) is based on technical protocols. In the beginning we monitored pumping stations, then came the worldwide monitoring and control of corrosion protection stations along oil and gas pipelines. M-Bus, KNX and other technical protocols were added.
Today, the challenge for us is to realize business processes in the cloud that integrate Internet-enabled devices in buildings and deliver the best value to users.
The use of language assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is an important aspect of this. Preventive maintenance and optimization of delivery processes are other important examples.

Our city Kaiserslautern offers an exciting environment for the development of innovative software: for example, the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern, the German Development Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics, the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) and research and development facilities of well-known companies.
Together with the University of Kaiserslautern, DFKI and some industrial partners, Agentilo has participated in the project "LiSA: Light and solar Management using active and model-predictively controlled components".
The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and aims to enable the most energy-efficient operation of office and administrative buildings while taking user satisfaction into account. The focus is here on the control of facades and lighting.
